Hunger Games

In the Hunger Games one of my favorite parts is when Peeta says "I want to die as myself" I thought that this was a very meaningful phrase in the book because i really almost riled the whole story up. I think that this saying really made the Hunger Games think about how much District is a force to be reckoned with. Before the Hunger Games started, when they were practicing I think that the Game makers really question the skills of Katniss and Peeta but then after Peeta said this I think the Game makers got a bit scared.

Peeta and Katniss are really strong and have courage. And this is why it made such a powerful affect on the game people. So I think because Peeta said this that is why the Loud Voice chose to let Peeta and Katniss be claimed the winners. I think that my least favorite characters is District 1. They are snarky and they think that they are so amazing. The line that Peeta said really got them scared and worried so I think they got a little bit worried. But they kept it in. Peeta and Katniss made a big impact on me and made me think about Perseverance and Determination.

I think that this line means that Peeta does not want to change into some crazy killer and then die, he wants to die as the person he was before the Hunger Games. I think that even though this was such a small phrase it probably affected the way some people look at themselves. Because some people really want to fit in and be someone else but what they don't realize is that you are just fine the way you are.

In conclusion, I think that Peeta's line was a change in the story, and it goes to show that such a little line can change a whole story. I think that Susanne Collins really has an affect on people because of Peeta saying this. This was a really great book.
