What It Means To Be Dauntless

     Everyone is different. People have different thoughts, values, and ideas. Thats why in "Divergent"By Veronica Roth, there are the different factions. Out of Amity, Erudite, Dauntless, Candor, and Abnegation, being in Candor and Dauntless you need the most trust because trust is the only way people will respect you. For example, in Abnegation, all you really need to do is be more respectful to others then to yourself, then in Dauntless if you let your guard down someone might kill you. 

     In Candor, everyone must tell the truth. Candor runs the government, and therefor must be trusted. I think that it is good to have a whole faction devoted to loyalty and trust because not everyone is loyal and you cant trust everyone, so why not put all the main  truth tellers in one group?

     In Dauntless, almost everyone is trying to kill or injure someone else. Peter killing Edward, Al and Peter trying to kill Tris, so you always need to have someone on your side. Tris has Christina, on again off again Four, and a few others at her side. She trusts these people more then others because they stood up for her and tried to protect her.

     In real life, trust is important too. People wont just let you do things or give you things if they dont trust you. For example, My friend the other day let me hold his wallet as he ran. If I was just a stranger, He would think I may run off the wallet and take his money. He trusted me enough to do that. This may not be as serious as someone trying to kill me, but it is still an important act of trust.
