One choice is all it takes

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is about a place called Panem with twelve districts and a very overpowers capitol but there once were 13 district until a rebellion has happens  The Capitol makes one girl and one boy from each district to  join a entertainment game called the Hunger Games. 24 people are being force to fight to the death all for what? ENTERTAINMENT. In district twelve where the main character named Katniss and her partner peeta live are both picked to play and fight in the hunger games. They hardly know each other in the beggining but since the hunger games has occurred the two partner start to become more than partner. This stand in there way to win hate hunger game and return to their family without dying. In the book, there are two quotes that really made me think all about peeta and Katniss.

One quote from the book is when Peeta says, "I want to die as myself". This shows that even though Hunger Games and experiencing and seeing with his own two eyes seeing people drop dead in front of him he won't change the way he think of people or the way he think of his family. He thinks that people that have entered was not there fault they were only to get food for their family and were forced too.Peeta doesn't want that to happen because we wants to be himself the entire time. Peeta wont change even in death

Another quote that stood out was when Katniss says, "Rue's death has forced me to confront my own fury against the cruelty, the injustice they inflict upon us...". This shows me how the hunger game can really change somebody  Katniss is force to fight in the games and is forced to kill when all she wanted is for her sister to stay out of the reaping. She change and risk her life all for family. All for entertainment sometime i think people can be so cold hatred and don't care.

In conclusion., the Hunger Games shows us a lot of emotional feelings. The story really reaches to us because it make me think about my government and theirs and how ruthless people can be. It is supposed to teach us a lesson in life!
